Here is the finalized version of my fursuit head. I thought I would be finished last month, and while I thought I did okay, I needed to make some improvements. First, the eyes. My last pair of follow-me eyes were squished by the eye sockets. So I ripped them out and made new ones, making the borders of the eyes stronger by using thicker foamies.

Second, the tongue. Even though I clearly looked like a lizard, a majority of the general public at the mall during our furmeets always thought I was a crocodile. Adding a longer, more pronounced forked tongue will get the message across that I'm a lizard. At this point, anybody who thinks I'm a crocodile may want to get those cataracts looked at. xD

Finally, I did some touch-ups on the seams. More noticeably around the eye sockets, the bridge of the snout, and where the pink felt meets the green fleece in the mouth. I used the Henson stitch. Blending the felt in the lower jaw also tightened the fabric around the head, making it flush with the foam and making it look closer to my original design. This also carries the additional benefit of a more responsive jaw.

I think I'm finally done with perfecting my head in time for my youtube show. Which I expect to film and premiere in June.
