A commission for Soulwolf, of his character when he was younger, seen here with his phoenix companion. It's interesting how much variety there is to the phoenix, so here I chose a merlin hawk as the basis for his form, with some fantasy elements to the head and tail. Also, I added some texturing in the inking stage to the young wolf's fur and cloak, and I really like how that turned out.
