Nicely done. I think the mix of colors works. Bright in some places, but dark in others. The face is used to talk and display emotion. It's a mix of light and dark, representing the conflict.
The chest area contains vital organs, including the heart. It is a more vulnerable part of the body, and is brightly colored.
The arms and legs can be used to cause great harm more than any other physical part. While it can be used to show love, it is darkened by violence.
Of course, the colors could have been chosen because they look good, and there isn't a deeper meaning. I just thought to share this, is all.
He's a good contrast with Candice. She designs fashion worn by people that is meant to be shown off. He designs houses, which shelters people and keeps them hidden.
She is submidlssive and loves certain forms of violence done to her. He's submissive and engages in violence. She's very social, he isn't.
This might all be unintentional, but it works!
