My lovely wife and i are attending the 2013 Comicpalooza in Houston right now. We're having a blast with our friends. It's saturday night right now and we just finished running the cosplay contest with our friends, been a lot of work, but well worth it. Now we get to really enjoy the rest of the con!

These are next gen uniforms so they have different meanings from the original series. Red is command, blue is science, and gold/yellow is operations. It branches out to different areas within each branches. Hope that helps.

Yeah, they were reversed in the original one. Red was Operations/Engineering, gold was command. I look better in black, anyways.

Seems like they could at least keep things consistant.

I actually watched the new Star Trek movie recently (well, not the new-new one, the one before that). I couldn't figure out why Kirk didn't spend the entire second half of the movie locked up in the brig...

Seems like people have the right to have an artistic license when they are revamping an entire series.

I'm not much a fan for the newest storyline. So I'm not going to even go there about that. ;P
