remind me to leave a comment about my own "feels," regarding guys like Scowl.

(it's pretty poignant, because my deliberation came to me while i was trying to get some frigging sleep.)

this is what i think: what Scowl really meant was, I wanted to be the guy who got the last word in: I am supposed to be the one who breaks things off — not you. But you'd denied me this; and because my fragile, self-important ego cannot handle a set•back like that, I cannot forgive you.


for, surely, Scowl should not have been under any gross illusions that his and tank's relationship was Primo\Optimo.

(though it is to be naturally-presumed Scowl, likely, is not sufficiently-introspective enough to know just how much of a "contributing factor" he was to his own end-result.

if he was, he'd not have been so surprised by tank's boycott.)


if tank believed scowl was such a furson who could be reasoned with and talked to, tank certainly would have attempted this instead.
right?


rather, scowl appears rather satisfied that he rarely ever does any grievous wrong ... how can a furson solve a problem, when he feels there is none?

Scowl's the type to hold a grudge, yes. He certainly didn't think they had any problems, so it did catch him by surprise, and maybe hurt him.

You have an interesting outlook on the story, and that's totally awesome.

i'm a rather dunder-headed sort of guy..
..so it is quite miraculous when i can pull off something like this.
