Guys, guys... Paint Tool SAI plus Photoshop works REALLY well for animating! =D
This took about 14 hours for 56 drawings, much quicker then my old pencil version: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2780345/
What do you think? Also I'm considering offering animated TF avatars for commission; let's say... $90 for the most complex avatar FA allows, ~40 frames. Is there a demand folks?

You could use a different image for the submission icon that isn't an animation and perhaps have it say"animated" or something so people know it is
Fa sadly has this issue when it comes to submissions though luckily user icons are fine

You can. It allows you to draw frames and play them back, and it has rudimentary motion tweening.
Unfortunately it's like the absolute barest-bones solution for animation, lacking features like 'onion skinning' and a powerful frame editing toolbar like Adobe Flash. Try torrenting a copy or finding it on the net before resorting to photoshop.
