Llamrei Häst’s awesomeness transcends dimensions; the beautiful shiny ponyta cannot be confined merely to the PCA-verse with her team mates. In some dimensions she is the powerful figurehead of a multinational corporation, in others she is powerful, in some she is poor, and in this one she is a feral Ponyta who was raised from an egg by her handsome, and smart, and tallented () author insertion character and Pokémon trainer Thomas.

The story of this boy and his Ponyta began in the Kanto region on a family owned Pokémon ranch North East of Pallet town. The Harper family having moved to Kanto from Johto because of hard economic times in that region. Bringing with them a small herd of Miltank and other Pokémon and after purchasing a modest amount of land they built and operated a farm that would provide the surrounding region with many hard to grow necessities.

Because of the close proximity to Pallet town and the wealth of knowledge from its resident Pokémon genius professor Oak the Harper Ranch soon became well known for breeding strong and hardy Ponyta which were used not just for their great speed in getting around the farm, but also for more mundane tasks like ploughing the fields and protecting the other Pokémon from poachers and thieves.

The oldest son of the Harper family grew up around Pokémon and spent all his free time out in the fields helping his mother and farther to raise and care for them, becoming a gentle and compassionate soul in the process. When he was 7 years old he was given the task of caring for and looking after a Pokémon egg that had appeared in the stables where his father’s Ponyta and his Mother’s Rapidash were kept during the night.

He carried that egg with him everywhere, kept it warm at night and was always careful with it and before long it hatched into a Shiny Ponyta, a rarity indeed, he earned the trust of the new born foal almost immediately and the two have been inseparable ever since.

Unlike most children his age Thomas did not immediately set off to become a trainer at age 14 as most of the children in this region did (yeah I’m aging it up from the anime… show me your rage :p) He stayed on at the farm to help out his mother and farther and two younger siblings but at age 16 the desire to explore and see the world was just too strong so he took the Pokémon trainer licence exam and managed to score a respectable 84 out of 100 points, more than enough to qualify him for a licence, a pokédex and the right and responsibility to go forth and capture and train wild Pokémon.
