I created a Flash game of pong based on a tutorial I found, then I modified the crap out of it to add a little challenge to the game. Then, I decided to give it a cartoonish, furry theme to replace the boring rectangular pong bats. This is what I ended up with. The cartoon wombats were hastily drawn because I wanted to put this up before I go out of town.
Maybe you remember the old riddle:
Q: What do you do with a wombat?
A: Play Wom of course.
Bad, bad joke, I know, but I didn't make it up, I'm just telling it.

Oh, maybe I should add a few hints:
The player's wombat can move left and right a short distance, as well as up and down. Just use the mouse.
Hitting from further back (to the right) increases the chance that the enemy wombat will miss.
The ball gets faster with each hit. Eventually the enemy wombat can't keep up and will miss it.
The ball also speeds up to a tighter angle each time you get a goal. That increases the challenge for you.
10 points wins the game.
