I've got plenty of art showing my namesake character/persona, Jetyra Luck... but most of it is old and out of date. This is the only thing of her that isn't out of date. I wish I had more, considering it's her name I use here... but hopefully knowing that this is all there is of here on here will boot me in the butt to draw more good art of her.

Jetyra is a Zhaphrin, a canine-dragonish species on Kalier, the fantasy/sci-fi world I've been working on for years. Jet's background is still having the wrinkles and details ironed out, but in the future, about 100-300 years when Drel finally grows up and becomes the Kalithian ruler, the Zha race, which had for millenia been the slaves of the Kalithe and subjected to a domestication program that rendered them needy and dull, and weak, have been free for 100-300 years, but have been nothing more than a vagrant drain of a race on the others. Zha's live in the slums, amounting to nothing more than crime lords and thieves. No amount of genetic research has found a way to repair the damage done to them. When the Kalithe severed the Zha's connection to the magical flow of Kalier, they rendered the race aimless at best, violent at worse, and the knowledge to repair such damage was lost long ago.

In comes Jet, half domestic Zha, and half feral Zha, who are dwindling in number and little more than nomads who became more aggressive as in the far northern lands they fled too to to be free while the rest of their race were enslaved. Jet is a unique hybrid with the wits of the feral strand, but the civil sense (as much as is possible) of the domesticated Zha. And a unique mutation has given her a new gene that connects her to the magical energy of Kalier. And it all goes well, she'll be the one to lead her people out of their self-pitying misery and restore them to the keepers of Kalier once again. :P Or at least give them sense and magic back.

(This will be moved to scraps eventually. But seeing as this is the only bit of art of my namesake, i want it to be in m gallery for a bit so people know who the heck Jetyra Luck is)
