I was honestly kind of worried about how it might end up (to be honest, I've been reading too many seemingly 'cute' stories with bad endings), but I'm glad to see these two having a happy ending. It's a nicely open ending: both still have much to overcome (her insecurities, his shyness), but there's much hope for what the future will bring. (Me, I like to idealize things :p I'm a romantic at heart... I like to imagine that with some prodding and some practice (and wacky hijinx xP ), he might be a bit more 'playful' and dominant, bring out a touch of the online persona into daily life... and that maybe they'll learn to get out and have some real dates :p )

Honestly, though, I adored this series. Don't think I can say that enough. Strange and kinky, yet sweet and romantic; a bit of everything I love in one place! And some amazing expressions to cap it all off (sorry, still giggling over Faye's reaction to her first taste of cum xD )... Considering how it began, I never expected the series to go so far, yet I'm so glad it did!

I think it would have been better in a comic format. Smaller panels, fewer 'establishing' panels and all that kind of thing, but I get that you were going for something that looked like frames of a TV show, and that was pretty cool in its own right.

Thoroughly enjoyed. I especially enjoyed the fact that you didn't white wash the proceedings, neither too light, nor too dark. You had conflict which made the payoff more worthwhile, and context which gave the characters a sense of place, and more importantly, risk. Also, sexy as all hell.

I loved ths series, love faye so much, and kinda wanna see her have a happy relationship with michael. Bu I've seen every page, and loved each and every single one.

I'm sure you already know this but... it was okay. For the most part.

The whole twist with SS actually finding MC was rather unique for a series of erotic images, and it's what got me hooked.

However, I think with this same twist you either wrote yourself into a corner or didn't know quite how to end what you started. Such are the troubles with introducing a narrative into your porno, I suppose.

Ultimately, we got the obvious & lighthearted ending, which isn't a bad thing per se. The couple is... okay. Let's face it: SS is drop dead gorgeous while MC looks average at best, a meth addict at worst. The moral is okay, I just wish the execution wasn't as confused as it got around the mid point of this third installment.

Of course, the main detriment for me is the porn itself, which makes it rather difficult for me to give it a solid reccomendation. I loathe futanari stuff, but it's doubtful you'll change this direction sicne it's obvious you like this kind of stuff. Hey, more power to you man. If you like it, do it.

it started with faps, but around the end of the first arc, i found myself coming back for the plot and the characters. I remember feeling torn and a bit depressed, wondering what would happen if i could x, or such. Which is a lot more than i could say for what i expected xD

So far this was my favorite comic series i've seen on FA. I love the plot line and how well the story was played out as well as the personality of the characters. I would wait patiently for the next string of pages, and when they came, I squeed and flailed.

Honestly I restarted my account here simply to comment and to view this comic. I'm more then grateful for it and I really enjoyed it. I also enjoyed watching how your style changed over the comics and really got clearer and more direct in what you wanted. I hope to see more of these guys in the future but I'm content for now with the current plots ending.

And with every page turn i was always left in suspense at how'd she'd react to a certain situation, or what she's going to transform into next that going to leave me to baffle at.

This was an entertaining series and i woul;d love to read it all from the very start, since i caught it halfway through. But your approach made it very captivating and all the quirks and antics added to the feeling of the story, I would certainly hope that this has a sequel and that you keep it, consider me a huge fan of this.

You mean this is it? No more (shorter) chapters? That's so sad. Well, never-the-less I will review it again, because it is among the few pieces that don't make me completely give up.

I think Shapeshifter is an oddity even for its genre. It is exaggerated, perverse, indeed alot of people would call it depraved, but you forgive it for its human sickness becaue of the characters and artwork. As a writer and erotic story enthusiast I think they really are the most important parts of the series because they feel like living people with their own minds and not re-used personalities from a jar. Seeing as the characters only interaction with one-another started as webcam expressions and text messages this is quite an accomplishment that I salute mr Lemonfont for. Still, you need more than text messages to convey emotions in a comic of any kind, and the spot-on facial expressions and body movements does that very well and give far more life to the comic. The plot is...I don't want to say original. While I can't mention any stories where a human meets someone more than human online, goes on a date via a wire, crush the more-than-humans heart, she goes into depression and becomes a camwhore before confronting the human and then they have a real date and then have incredible and kinky sex, the premise feels all too simple to not feel familiar - guy meets girl, girl dates guy, guy does something stupid, girl gets sad, girl confronts guy, happily ever after ending. I guess the prime difference is here the plot is actually entertaining, though I think I'll attribute that to the time between posted pages, which makes you yearn for more without fully noticing the big plot - you can't see the forest for the trees. I won't call it a bad thing, but it is a line-walker. So what is wholly bad about it? Nothing in perticular, but it does have what you might call mistakes, which like many hollywood movies drag down the whole experience. When you create something you'd call amazing across the board you simply can't make any mistakes because if you do the whole masterpiece detoriates. For example generally artwork and story and characters are very good, but small things like them crying from happiness or Micheals expression at that time makes you mentally shoot up and wonder what the fuck happened. My overall score of the Shapeshifter series is eight out of ten running sweat drops, where I praise characters and artwork and only wish away the small mistakes.

I think my favorite chapter was #01, turns out! Taken on its own, it brings about a lovely air of unexplained mystery about Faye. She's popped out of seemingly nowhere, her name is unknown, her origins are unknown - she's someone who shows off on cam-chat and it's all left up to viewers to figure out whether she's real or not. It's left a good mark in my memory.

Aye. I'm sure it Lemon planned it to only be a one-shot story (and I did to upon reading it) but we and him liked it so much he made a sequel :)

This was a very interesting series. I hope for a continuation, with Faye as a secondary character and the main as her daughter, or maybe her sister meeting Michael (and posing as Faye).

The series, as a whole, is this sort of gray valley. Sort of nimbus in its multitude. It's an enriching feel(s), but only if everything in a laundry list hits your high points. I'm the sort of person to find a silver lining in every work of art, though.

In a stately way, it's like a really good reality t.v. program. Something truly unscripted and staged, actually. Not that faux-reality, or those real shows that are real bad. Something much more like the first Survivors, if you were deeply into them.

I say this because really, at each turn it felt like this is what might really happen, if not nothin but for masculine nature. I wanna say the first sequence kinda felt a little cliche, and that I've seen stuff like that before, the webcame, the naughty, etc, etc, it was strictly porno with a bow-chika-wow wow, but the second part was really real, and at the same time, really real in a way that most people don't want to admit. It felt strictly porno, but it still had that plausibility, because, really, if any man wanted to see how far his lover might go for him, it would no doubt be something sexual. We all would like to believe it might be something loftier... but really, sex.

The third one... eeeeeehh... it kept that same realism, in the whole "omg, I hate him, I love him, I miss him" and "yah, I know I was all like 'dick dick dick' but I'sa scared for my butthole virginity" ... but it really clashed with just how much more polished it was than the first two. Stand alone, it works brilliantly, but a lot of the exposition is hidden in the first two, kinda sorta. It's like the first two were Metriod 1 and 2 and this one is Super Metriod. It just kinda drawfs the others, and you can pick it up by its lonesome, but if you really want to make the experience, full circle, 110%, you're in for some jarring transitions.



All and all, I loved it, but I'm willing to step back and criticize on things that were really out of your control from the beginning as there probably was no sense of scope back then. ...

It's over? Awww, I didn't want it to end.

You produced so much content, the facial expressions, the story, the relationship developing. The questions formed and the story told. It leaves so much up to the imagination, by the way you tell the story, and it also allows for so much more.
