So today marks 7 weeks since Peaches had a litter of puppies. 1 boy and 3 girls. I'm keeping the male as a replacement to his Dad Bouzer. We've had a heck of a time deciding on a name. We tried: Yoshi, Mario, Taquito, Bruce, Gibbs, Dubs, TB, Bub, Dude...All to no avail. I said in jest "He's just so Derpy" to which he left the squeaky toy they were all mauling and come over to us. So I walked away and said "Lil Derp!" he came running over. Later Mike leaned over the puppy wall "Whats up lil Derp!?" to which he sat and barked at Mike....so everyone meet DERP!

I originally had sought out this one's mother for breeding, but she never got any bigger than 35 pounds and my stud dog is a 75 pound AKC registered Blue so I had talked myself out of breeding her. But a miscommunication between my boyfriend and I led to them being let outside together while she was coming out of a heat (she was to be spayed at the end of the month when I got my tax return) and they ran away for 4 hours and then we found out that she was bred. So this was her first and last litter as she got spayed yesterday. She didn't fare well with her little size so I'm not going to put her through that again. I my dogs too much for that!
