Philip Marmelstein, USN (1)
On this Memorial Day, I found a couple portraits from WWII of my uncle, Philip Marmelstein in naval uniform.

(My uncle, Philip Marmelstein, 3rd from right. Uncle Philip went on to be one of the first pilots for the Israeli Air Force, ferrying Czech-built Messerschmitts for the IAF and flying refugees into Israel as part of Operation Magic Carpet. Now in his 80s, he has announced that he intends to see his 101st birthday. I think he's just the guy to pull it off, too.)
At 92, he's still on track to reach the century mark.
I'm quite proud of him, I am.
