Ahastar used to be the high priest of his village, respected above all others for his mastery of magic and the supernatural. Unfortunately, when Bolt came to claim the village, he immediately put the immortal half-demon raptor to more appropriate use. Now the great bronze dragon wears Ahastar wherever he goes: a statement of his own superiority and a fashionable adornment for his already striking hind paws.
Whenever Bolt visits his conquered village, the frightened inhabitants appease him with a re-enactment of The Capture of the High Priest. Ahastar has little else to do except watch and be grateful for the respite.
ahastar . o O ( I wish he would use his wings more )

What a way to suffer a slowly suffocating and crushing death for Ahastar, I am not sure whether being a half-demon is a good thing or a bad thing in this case. But n matter how mangled and bruised you cant help but smirk at the fact he is a durable little raptor. Great work with this Diablo and remember to keep pleading Ahastar, maybe he'll give you mercy one day!
Diablo, I’m thoroughly enjoying these splendid pieces of art you’re creating and sharing and this one in particular is really wonderful. First, I like the new blue & purple mixed background and how it captures the dusk or dawn setting, (I think it’s dawn) and I like that this is a new setting since it’s taking place outside. Second, I took notice of the layers of depth you’ve implemented and I’m amazed by it. I like that you drew a blurred layer to depict that Diablo is watching from a distance with a complacent and apathetic look on his face. I like the front layer, which is more focused and how it shows more detail. Speaking of which, I notice that you always go all out on detail on your drawings and I love it how you show it in this piece. I noticed how well you illustrated the shadows protruding out of the fire on everyone around it. You definitely capture the moment of the re-enactment and show each character in his/her place. I adore the small costumes the players are wearing like the raptor wearing fake wings impersonating Bolt and the raptor laying on the ground, painted with red stripes and wearing red tip on his tail, pretending to be the pitiful Ahastar. He looks very fatigued and stressed just by looking at all his feathers falling out of his head. You did a fine job portraying Ahastar as a fallen leader reduced to a tired foot decoration for Bolt’s paws. And lastly, you do a remarkable job drawing the huge delightful padded paws you’re well known for. I apologize for my lengthy praise but I just wanted to assure that your outstanding attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. I passionately admire and envy your incredible art skills. Thank you for sharing this Diablo. You’re truly a maestro when it comes to this type of artwork.
I need to move into this village.
You do such great work on these images I think you have to take a lot of the blame for turning me to like paws. Just look at how the digits on Bolt's forepaws seem to rest so naturally in place, bending over the ground and his cheek. Not to mention the entire feel of the scene; the mighty dragon giving little thought to the villagers. Who knows when he could strike! <3

Tsk tsk tsk.... Ahastar practically invites this sorta thing when he drums up crazy positions of superiority for himself like that. On the upside, the tribe has something MUCH nicer to pay homage too now - one exceptionally sexy pair of hind paws! Bolt has such sexy soles and pads, and I really love how jewellery just puts the bold and underline on how nice they look. Nicely drawn Diablo!
That would be pure torture! Not being faced into the spendor of the supreme sole of his giant gorgeous glorious super sexy foot! Only being able to dream of having their face mashed deep into the soft hot sole of his fabulous foot with every step he takes! That is just horribly cruel!
A nice work of you once again, and I like the reenactment idea, and what you did with the fake wings and strap-on bits.
Wonder if the Ahastar actor enjoys the foot domination acted out on him as much as the real one does?
Also, I sneakily enjoy how much anthro raptors and anthro rexes look alike in your works. :)

You know, every single time you post one of your magnificent pieces of work -> I <- get a couple of new watchers, too. I am getting collateral-watched, that is how much of an impact these dragon STOMPS invoke!
Amazing job, my friend! And congrutalations on surviving your art marathon day. ;)
