Well, of course. 'Breakdown' is one of the Japan's favorite English words. They'll interrupt a song of all Japanese just to say "BREAKDOWN!!" Listen to I Am Impact from Legend of the Mystical Ninja for further clarification. ;)

You know, a lot of people have said that it reminds them of RPG music, but for me it took me back to ye olden days of Contra-style shooters. The drums are just slightly intrusive, but it made me think of jumping from hovering platform to hovering platform and blasting anything that moved. ;>
