Shoulder angel and devil - the King of Hell (Mark Sheppard / Crowley) and my beloved angel (Misha Collins / Castiel)! <3 Seriously, I cannot express how happy I am! =)
I had the chance to go to a Supernatural convention (AECON) in Germany last week - it was a blast! I didn't expect anything, never having been to a non-furry con before and I went there alone - I had an amazing time! The stars were wonderful, entertaining and awesome, I got some unforgettable memories (photos, autographes) and even though I didn't know anybody else, all people were really nice and friendly. :) Very similar to a furry con actually - just swap the gender rate ;) (90% girls, 10% guys)
The guest stars were:
Misha Collins (<3 <3 <3), Mark Sheppard, Richard Speight, Ty Olsson, Julian Richings, Rick Worthy, Kim Rhodes, DJ Qualls, Kevin McNally and Matt Cohen.
I had the chance to get this unique and amazing photo of Savoy with Misha and Mark (when I got back to Misha's table afterwards without suit to get the photo signed, he said "oh, that was you!"), and also three more single photos (without suit): Misha and me, one with Richard (Trickster / Gabriel) and one with Mark. I am sure I missed so much more (first time at such a convention and no idea what to do / get), but for my "first" con - I think I did well. X)
Btw. Mark looks kinda grumpy on the photo, but unfortunately he did that all day / on most photos (I heard something got messed up with his flight), so that wasn’t a reaction to my suit.
After the photo op with Savoy, I walked around in fursuit in the hotel (Sheraton Frankfurt) for 1 or 2 hours. I first was really nervous about it, as I was alone without spotter and I did not know at all how Supernatural fans would react to a fursuit. But WOW - I had a blast! Those people (fans) were amazing! I think I never got that much positive reactions and attention at a con before! =) I wouldn't have expected comments like:
"Furries! I love Furries!"
"It's so fluffeeeeeh I gonna die!"
"Rawr, that's... doing things to me"
"You smell nice!"
"I saw you (Furries) on TV, I thought it was great"
"What's your furry name?"
"Do you need water? I will get you a drink with a straw"
I even ended up on stage with Rick Worthy and Ty Olsson for a few minutes! These guys were rocking so hard! X) Unfortunately I didn't find any videos or photos yet, only a bad audio record - check out 26:45 until 28:50 here: http://youtu.be/fdBP-WMkpF8
So, yes, I can be a fan-girl too. ;)
Now, quick to Confuzzled before PCD eats me up.

Ah, god, ich hab dich gesehen bei Ty und Rick's Panel und hab mir gedacht "wait..ist das Tani?" und dann hab ich dich nochmal auf dem Flur gesehen, aber ich war zu awkward um dich anzusprechen. Schön, zu sehen, dass du es wirklich warst :D

In truth, Mark looking grumpy like that does make him more suitable for his role on the show so that isn't a total bummer! Misha's pose is entirely hilarious though and really seems to fit with the guy's personality as far as I know. This is an amazing photo, lol, this put a smile on my face :) Glad you had a blast!
Out of insomnia I've been revisiting my fav list on FA and saw your comment on lack of photos from AECON. I'm curious by nature, so: "Challenge accepted!"
