I once heard the reason why Link's hair was pink in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past was because he shared a palette with the rabbit which was also pink, and they didn't have enough colors to make his hair blonde.
Because giving all those random-ass colors to his tunic and hat was totally a good idea to waste palette colors on, amirite?

This... is again making me laugh. I only know this weapon from "Oracle of Ages" for the Gameboy, and... yeah, I kind of liked the puzzles with it, but it unquestionably wasn't something to "love". I mean, its abilities seem quite passive, it has no universally offensive ability. Even the shield with its protection can at least serve well in real combat. The cane seemed to have a limited usage. However with all of that said, knowing that there's someone out there who can look at this thing with sparkly eyes and scream "YEEEEAAAAHH!!! " with euphoria... that really makes me happy, hehehehe
