I drew Knuckles sort of like Ace from One Piece and Ace, in the manga, has a tatoo on his back with the simbol of his captain and a swastika. I haven't seen the anime, but friends confirmed me that Ace in the anime doesn't wear a swastika in his back but a normal cross. We must remember, or know, that a swastika was popular known as an amulet to attract good luck but the Nazi corrupted the whole meaning of this cross. I just wanted to follow the original idea of the character desing (Ace), that it's always the manga one, not the anime one.
