I have nothing but time on my hands while I sit at my parents being the available caregiver for my dad when other people need to work. That is the one good thing about working third shift, people can go to work during the day and I can sit around and look after the invalid.

Brain cancer sucks.

Anyways, I need something to do with my time, so I was carving. I have managed to get this piece to a semi-respectable level at the moment, though a great deal work needs to be done. However without mounting the lower portion of the break I can not work on the lines of the beak any further. As such I decided to take a photo for the remembrance of what it looked like before I completely f it up. ;)

In the end I hope to have a respectable articulated raven mask in northwest coast native style. Suitable to costuming at con, if I so feel inclined.
