Only a few years ago we lost our puppy Irish Wolfhound Giddeon... and now Rupert. This beloved gentle giant was put to sleep this morning due to Cancer.
I take peace in knowing now he can run as far and as fast as he wants, free of pain, free of illness, forever in our hearts.
I'll miss you my biggest boy. Once again, taken too soon.

These types of dogs are wonderful creatures. We have two Scottish Deerhounds and they're just so gentle and placid. I'm sorry to hear you lost him, I know it hurts to lose a pet. We lost one of our dogs to cancer about three years ago. I hope you have fantastic, wonderful memories of him, because they're what count now ^^
I'm so sorry to hear this The loss of a pet is always rough. If you need someone to vent to or talk about it, I'm always open to talk to :D *big hugs* Take care! I'm sure he is in good company now with Giddeon.......and my cats are chasing them around :) He looks like a well behaved and noble dog.
I'm very sorry for your loss...on 4/16 I made the same decision for my German Shepherd...she was 12 years old and very sick. I was with her the whole time so that she could begin her journey home knowing that I loved her.
If you need an ear, message me anytime. I know what you're feeling and if I can offer any kind of comfort or solace, I will be more than happy to. for now, though, allow yourself to grieve. Dont hold any of the emotions in...you will find yourself healing alot faster if you just let yourself grieve and cry as you need to.
