Another custom-designed starship of mine; here we have the Psycho-tick...

the Psycho-Tick is a single-seat starfighter, designed with an over-sized Alcubierre drive and advanced life support system gives this ship incredible speed and the ability to operate almost completely autonomously from any starport or space station. the ship's main (and only) weapon is a decimator photonic missile system, which is really designed as a weapon system meant for larger frigates and capital ships to be used against other large ships.

Unlike other photonic missiles and torpedoes, which have a photon and antimatter photon collide within the warhead causing the hull damage, the decimator's primary warhead consists of a small block of antimatter suspended in a magnetic chamber, which is then surrounded by conventional explosives. Upon impact the conventional explosives will rupture the magnetic chamber in such a way as to then send the antimatter block into the ship's hull which will convert the immediate area of impact into pure energy, the resulting explosion further ripping the ship's hull apart.

With this said it is no wonder why these fighters are the terrors of any starship captain. However, the Psycho-Tick's major drawback is that it has no armor or defensive countermeasures of any kind. even small-arms fire has been known to penetrate the hull of a Psycho-Tick.


I admittedly found this ship concept interesting right from the get-go exactly because of how lopsided its stats would be.
