Hey, thanks! I'm just using Anvil Studio, a freeware, bottom-of-the-line MIDI composer. You could do equally good or better with anything else.

Has a good beat. Something smooth and peaceful, with a mix in up beat near the end. Very nice!

It doesn't sound half bad, which is pretty good considering how crappy my midi synth is.

I realize you prolly don't wanna go 'hardcore' but you might benefit from switching to .mod format music. It allows you to package the sounds along with the melody, instead of depending on my puny midi synth. XD

Yeah, I uh. I could stand a tutorial or two on how to use Modplug Tracker. c.c That thing's about as intuitive as chucking jello pudding pops at Norse gods.

I gave it a try, once, but you'll notice there are no music samples on my FA bit. ^.^

There's probably one out there, and if not then maybe you could check their community and ask someone to write one. ^.^

Nobuyuki hit that one on the head. This piece definitely has an old-school RPG feel to it. It reminds me of a desert-area theme from one of those, like one of the Breath of Fire games. It would also be a good theme for a crossing-the-endless-desert montage for such a game. Brings to mind lovely desert vistas from the times I've travelled through Arizona, too. Nice piece of work!

Ooh, thank you! Yeah, I had a lot of early inspiration in RPG soundtracks, and possess quite a few of them. I'd say game music takes up more space on my hard drive than any sort of professionally rendered album! *chuckle* But I'm glad these are enjoyable.

Never knew you lived in the dry place. I can see how this was inspired to come from yas. It IS very calm and relaxing, yet I can definitely see a character theme in this as well. ^^ Yes, Nobou is one of the best to look to.
