All the "cute" I draw now is actually relatively new for me xD I used to draw a lot of darker stuff around 2 years ago
and I actually started out drawing by doing nithing but black and white monochrome for a few years xD;;;;;

well my Old oldddd stuff (i.e. when I first started posting online in like 05)

I p much died there awhile back tho I do update from time to time xD
After that I had a stint on mangabullet where I wemt trade crazy and did like
50 traded over the course of 3 months.
It's the reason I'm able to draw fairly quickly now xD
My 2 accounts there are gon sonce Anipan ate MB
anddd after that I hopped on the tumblr train and dipped my feet
into fanart/fandom and that's currently where I reside most of the time.
FA is p new too me but it seemed like a chill enough community and a lot of the artist I follow
recently made accounts so I decided to hop over as well.
I didnt realize everyone was so nice or that a lot of peeps would like my stuff
;v; it was a pleasant surprise!

I see the darker things in there from a while back, definitely!
It's cool to see the different stuff in there too!
and yeah, I died on da a few years ago. And since then have been souly on fa.
I got tired of the super huge community, that no one would even look at your images if they were original art and not fan work.
or some kind of fetish... :/ I stored all of my stuff and made this my home.
da used to be where i was on all day and fa was kind of a side thing.
I got fed up with it, tried a few other places too, like mangabullet, hentai foundry, and y!Gallery.
So far, i'm still on y!gal, but it's not a very active community. :<
I had a falling out with hentai foundry because they are 'super picky' and didn't allow some of my images because they 'weren't good enough'!?
I didn't care for mangabullet's site layout and community in general so that was a come-and-go kind of thing for me. >~<;
I had a few run-ins with y!gal's strict upload policy and tags and the fact that i made my profile way back when i was underage but whatever.
(i wasn't using it till i was 19 actually lol but they still punished me)
And recently there was nabyn too. it's new but really barren, like nobody's ever on there. Your recent upload will stay on the front page for days it's so quiet!
I tried making an anipan but it wasn't very fun because of the confusing layout again. and i never used inkbunny or weasle (or however you spell it).
i just don't want to. ;_;
I use tumblr but I don't wanna post my art on there. i feel like things get lost on there too easily... It makes me uncomfortable.

But yeah, that's a lot of talking i did!
Sounds like a lot of trades you did! 50 in three months??? Geeze!
It's good you were able to get a benefit from it besides the trades themselves! Drawing faster! :>

And regarding the fa community; yeah everyone's really chill!
It's super nice! I was surprised too!
I mean you still have your idiots, psychos and trolls here and there but the general consensus is that the community is super sweet!
I really love it here! And I hope nothing happens to chase me out of the site.
I don't know where'd I'd go if i lost this.

Yeah I totes agree with the dA sentiment. Though I made a handful of buddies and a few of my followers have actually followed me from that site to everone one I've been to thus far :,)
Gah I had expectations for anipan that never got met
and I was without internet for a good couple of years so I didnt really jump sites all too much XD
