His character Shadowsky lost his wings in battle and had them replaced with cybernetic ones, with feathers electronically generated so they're basically solid light. I experimented with drawing right into the plastic lamination pocket then placing the card drawing in place, to get that see-through effect. Of course it doesn't glow, but still, I think that turned out pretty keen.
Markers and gel pen on Bristol, laminated of course.
