Just a preliminary sketch I did of my dream car, a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda. I would make sweet love to this car, oh god! Gotta love American muscle! A few things are slightly off, which is why I called this a sketch and which is why I'm scrapping this, once I go over it with some illustration paper and a 4B graphite pencil, complete with shading. I'm going fully traditional with this one, baby! Once I ink it, I'm using marker and colored pencil to color it!

Heh, I'm not a furry at all. I really joined the site because I thought that since most of my characters are anthro, it would receive a better response here. I started out drawing nothing but anthro because it was easier to do than humans. Now that I have the skill to draw humans, I'll probably draw a lot more, but I still love Isus and MiniNova, so those two are going nowhere.
Thank you! Well, it has some slight issues, but the next version will be fixed. As far as drawing cars, it's all perspective. This drawing started as nothing more than two boxes, piled on top of each other in two point perspective and the wheels started as cylinders in perspective. Once you get the hang of perspective, you can draw anything, really. Backgrounds and vehicles, objects and furniture are all just a matter of understanding perspective. I highly recommend Perspective For Comic Book Artists by David Chelsea. That book helped me to understand perspective in ways I never thought I would!
