Ahhhh, Rainfurrest! What can I say about this convention? For starters, this was my very first convention where I had to fly my Manu Koa feathersuit on an airplane! My last few conventions were within driving distance of my home, so I didn't have to worry about airport security, additional baggage, more expensive baggage fees upon check-in, suitcase packing logistics and . . . fretting/worrying about whether or not my feathersuit will not only make it to Seattle with me, but that it would arrive in one piece! (Everyone knows how "gentle" those airport baggage handlers are! Not to mention, their sorting equipment!) :P
But! Manu Koa arrived safe and sound in his baggage. And getting to the main hotel was certainly a breeze! It was my first convention ever that I was able to, quite literally, walk off the plane, pick up my bags at the baggage carousal and actually walk right over to the hotel! The convention hotel was that close to the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport!
I had a lot of fun suiting at this convention. There were more opportunities to get some outdoor pictures, which was really nice to add to my ever-growing collection of Manu Koa feathersuit photos. I really enjoyed entertaining the good furry folks out there on the West Coast! And hey! It was my first time I spent any appreciable length of time in Seattle! (I wish I could've explored Washington state some more.) Furry conventions are all nice and fun. But sometimes, I just YEARN to explore the surrounding environment. Especially a beautiful state like Washington!
One of these years, I'm going to have to explore Seattle & Washington all together. :)

Heheh! One of these days, I'll have to return back to San Francisco just so I could enjoy the West Coast, the Golden Gate Bridge, and meet up with friends who live in the area. :)
I always love seeing more birds! And visiting with birds. And doing cool birdy things that birds can only do!
Thanks for the warm invite to San Francisco! :>
