wonderfully done as always Wire... really really.... thought I spotted a typo or two - but guess what - I was wrong; no typos to report either! Perfect!

I found a new way to cheat on typos. I now use a text-to-speech program to read the work back to me while I read it myself on the screen. It really forces me to notice when something's out of whack. I did my usual 3 read throughs to clean up and edit, thought I had it pretty much fixed, then had it read to me. Found 6 more small problems, words missing like 'and' & 'to'. Makes a big difference.

now that is a really good idea!

You'll see a longer review from me on FF so I'll keep this brief: even by your standards, this is a fabulously accomplished chapter. I agree with LordTora: take whatever time you need for the next, your readers will happily wait.

In character development, complexity of theme, maturity and depth, 'Broken' is now so far beyond the canon material that it might as well be completely original fiction. You and I both honour the film, but notwithstanding this I find it hard to think of 'Broken' as fanfiction these days. Amazing work, as always...thank you for sharing it with us.

I am heartily grateful for your constant words of encouragement. The work I've put into my story *is* a testament to my love of the film and the franchise. The characters are important to me and I want always to treat them as they deserve. I suppose one might consider 'Broken' my own sort of review of "How to train your dragon." I simply love it *this* much.
