So.. my husband gave me this idea this morning, then he gave me his old flash drive and I went to work! The flash drive DOES work just fine. I tested it before and after.
I'm thinking, if people are actually interested in it, I might take a few of these as custom commissions. Just to try out and have fun with. Because this one is rather generic. I was going to do one of my characters or my husbands, but I decided just to do something simple to start with. If I do more, the flash drive can stick out of any part of the body, not just the head.. and yes, for you silly people, even the butt. ;) And the flash drive can be any size, though that would factor into the final price, which I am still working out if I do this.
So yeah.. too weird or kinda cool?...

Not weird at all. I mean, they do make a "humping dog" flash drive http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rI-pct3zy18. Very amusing
Erp? I was like, wtf when I saw the thumbnail. All I saw was a fox sitting there, then the one without a head before I just had to rush over and click it. Then I saw him with his neck in the computer and had to laugh.
Honestly, I think hes really adorable. You did a really good job. Heck, for me it doesn't just have to be a flash drive. I'd take him as is, maybe a little bigger? His pose and style would make a cute plush as well. But then thats my mind going off on other things.
Oh just had a brainstorm :P
I have a drive.. 512 meg, its a bit long, on a teather for around the neck. Would you be willing to do a fox that is laying down on his front, where you take his back legs and tail off for plugging into the port? My drive tends to lay around a lot, would be kind of cute to see him lounging about the desk here at home ;)
