Decided I'd post my current ride up on FA so people can see what a zebra uses to go shopping and stuff. It's a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500, it's extended cab so it has seats in the back, and it's a long bed, so it's got a good bit of space for hauling. It's the 5.9L V8 model, so it certainly can do quite a bit of work. This is in it's current state right now, and I'm considering if I want to go through a restore on it and make it look and run like a new truck again, currently sitting at 228,000 miles on it right now, so it's seen its fair share of work!

*giggles and nuzzles back* thanks a lot, I agree and a lot of others do too that that cummins diesel is a great engine in these trucks, but I wasn't lucky enough to get one with that, but I'm still happy with it, it drives great, and it looks really nice, though it needs work on that of course, it's missing the rear bumper, and the front one is dented in.
That it certainly does! To be honest I don't think the bed is the original one either, if you look at the wheel wells you can see guards on the back, but not on the front, and if you look very closely there are some spots that are spray paint, it's certainly a truck that's seen some use! Though I'd love to make it young again if I ever had the time and money.
Just looked at it a little closer. Yeah, I can see that the rear wheel opening has the black molding, but the front doesn't (or maybe it's just missing?). From the angle, it looks almost as if the bed was a different shade of white than the cab section. Could be a trick of light, or the camera characteristics. Who knows heh. Oh well, as long as it keeps on trucking (oh, Chester, you so punny).
