After some development, I’ve decided to slightly alter the appearance of my primary Star Wars fan character, Selene Dai’Ru’Lek, and reupload fresh photos of her.

Anyways, this is my primary Star Wars fan character. Her given name is Selenedairulek, meaning “The Lady of the Twin Lakes of Ice,” but she generally answers to either “Selene Dai’Ru’Lek” (Lady of Cold Water) or just “Selene” (Lady.) She is a Twi’lek, a species of sentient-ly sapient humanoid species native to the Outer Rim world of Ryloth; specifically, she is of the Tyrian ethnicity, whom possess skin colours that vary in hues of purple. Selene is a cybernetic transgendered individual, having been born female, but have chosen to undergo cybernetic surgery that allows her to “equip” the prosthetic genitalia of a male of any species. She is the daughter of Vreivaren Dai’Ru’Lek (Lucky Mountain of Cold Water), the founder of a small corporation called “Ru’Lek Mercantile,” with her mother having died in a heatstorm when she was young. Despite being better off than most, she was never a corporate type, and has taken up the “hobby” of smuggling black-market items, and making her way in the adult holovid entertainment business.

I never intended to pin Selene down in any particular Star Wars era. However, I primarily use her for “Rise of the Empire,” “New Jedi Order,” and “Legacy,” along with my own fan-era “Force of Darkness.” I’m also thinking on how to include her into “The Old Republic,” specifically the “Galactic Cold War” era, but I have yet to explain how someone from 0 BBY ends up in the year 6,653 BBY with no “modern” starship and only the clothing on their back…
