A so far unnamed male cat from a so far unnamed a story that so far only exists in my mind. The main character focus being on these large saber-tooth like cats living in an age where men have been their own downfall, cities are in apocalyptic ruin and people are reduced to living in tribes, very few with guns that have ammo. Naturally humans are still a threat, and the pride of cats retaliates when challenged. This male, in a blind rage, rips the fire brand from the hand of a human. Suffers singed fur but nothing more.
