Considering Memorial day passed by, and seeing how there's a fair few furs that appreciate such Militaria, I thought I would post this as It marks a time in my life that I really kicked ass.

I found this while sorting through a stack of old papers, and still within it's red padded presentation folder was this Certificate, and two forwarding letters from my chain of command.

For those that don't know, a CerCom is generally the highest written commendatory correspondence without being a medal the military can issue.
And to be given one from a Commanding General, makes it even that much more so. (See SECNAVINST 1650.1H)

The inspection that took place, over 1,000 Marines encompassing an entire Aircraft wing were inspected, and out of that inspection only three CerCom's were given out.
