Well hiding behind them isn't a very good thing generally, though i can't deny having done it myself a few times

cus then people who care cant tell as easily what you're really feeling and help you feel better if your sad or anything and then they feel worthless if they know something is wrong but not what, or just awful if they don't notice but find out later

I'm good at hiding. They will never notice. It's better that way.

-shakes head- is not, mayhap its better when around certain people, but around others you should just be yourself, not masks, no hiding, because any problems you have, they want to be able to help with, even if listening is the only help they can provide, hiding yourself away behind masks pushes everyone who cares away and locks them outside your little bubble, and when a mask breaks... it can be dangerous whether only emotionally or physically or both... There are times i miss masks merely for the fact that i knew if i wanted to i could convince anyone into believing i was fine or whatever, but life is much easier and happy for everyone if you just be honest and up front rather than hiding and pretending to feel differently than you do

But people get worried and sad. Unhappy. I don't want to make them unhappy... I'm not worth being worried for...

thats totally untrue, people get worried because they care and want to help and wish they could do more, but by denying them the chance to even listen to your problems you hurt them more by making them feel like you don't trust them or that they're aren't important enough to you for you to tell them things

But I'm not worthy for worries.
