As the days rolled on, her transformation became more and more visible. More and more of her skin took on it's new coloration. A pail white on the front and grey everywhere else. For the most part smooth and hairless. On the seventh day of her change she took a punge into a special pool at the clinic, swam to the bottom and opened her mouth, feeling the sensation of oxygen rich water going through her gills for the firs time. They were still only partially developed and she soon felt a bit out of breath, but never the less it was a marvelous sensation. With each passing day it got easier for her. Her doctor told her that she had to keep her gills wet once a day to stay in good health, but she could live with that.

On the eighth day, the final changes began. Many of them were internal, but the most visually striking of these happened to her face. Up until this stage of the transformation it had been unaffected, but it's transistion was inevitable. Slowly her nose began to change, melting into the sides of her face. The new skin overtook her her head making it smooth and glossy like the rest of her. Her eyes became catlike and slitted and her teeth were reconstructed into new pointed shapes, ones which were better suited to her now meat heavy diet. Her face jutted out a bit, completing the image by the 14th day.
