As a super special prize to the adopter of this awesome adoptable, I decided to try a completely new technique! This technique changed EVERYTHING about how I do fur, and I'm so so so so happy I found the tutorial that helped me out. Omg I just love this so much.

Eragon (the name given by the adopter) is part of an original concept from myself of blind, winged wolves. These wolves are basically protectors and guardians of elements, objects, emotions, natural disasters, etc. They only appear to those that have witnessed death from or when whatever the wolf protects. Eragon is the guardian of starry night skies. These wolves may not see, some are lucky enough to be able to make out certain colours, but as an alternative to their vision they use soundwaves, scents, and even sometimes psychic ability. The blindfolds design is the sign of guardianship given by an unknown being, the blindfold is most of the time enchanted and cannot be touched by anyone but the wolf themselves and has a power to aid vision for the wolf.

{Edit} Yes, some of the guardian stuff is kinda like Rise of the Guardians, but I do implore you that I thought about this way before ROTG even ever existed, just to clarify that I didn't rip it off XD in fact, I have tried to make it original o.o Hope that makes sense...
