... I try to keep things either to myself, or within private areas.

Now, before I haul off and say something that will hurt someone's feelings let's get one thing straight. I am VERY grateful, even ecstatic that a certain someone would go so far as to think of me in such a timeless way, and the meaning behind it and the event portrayed are near and dear to my heart.

But, having that out there I'm... ugh, how to say this without being a complete and total jerk? When I found out about this I was more annoyed than anything, as you hardly rate high on my liked artist list, not to mention an inherent dislike of stuff I create being used without me knowing. Content wise it's average to me; your style is okay, but has never really captured my imagination. And in this case it bothered me to see something quite intimate turned into a pretty picture for people to view.

Yet, after finding out the meaning behind its creation, and just WHO set the ball rolling... well, it left me torn inside. I still don't care for the picture all that much, and still find your art uninspiring, but I do owe that mongoose far more than a cold shoulder at well past midnight. As for you... a quiet thank you is in order.

you are welcome, and thank you for the criticism. we all have our opinions, and i take and use them to my advantage to see what i can do with my still developing art style. i know im not the best artist out there, or anywhere near, but id like to think of myself as decent. As long as people enjoy my drawings, im fine with my status.
i never did get the feel that you enjoyed my art very much, and im just happy that i got a comment really~. And it seems appropriate considering it was made for the two of you :3
