But if you really want to improve, my tactic for more accurate drawing is to use a 3D reference. Just take a 3D posable model and create some 3D scenary and render out the image, then basically use it as a base for the sketch.
I hope I'm not being intrusive.
It's really helpful, since I haven't heard of this before, so thank you! :D
