Actually, that wouldn't. By ordering a none covert strike, it'd bring light and more attention to the group. Thus "adding" to their cause and possible copy-cats. It would have to be covert, or where he's at? Sabotage.....

...if it ends as simply as our hero is thinking, i will be surprsied on the other paw i kinda wana see what that gun does...2 possibilities i can think of, blanks, some kind of stun darts, or the classic spy 'untraceable ammo' shpeel...there's other things that could happen but there a little farfetched [i dont see them having explosive ammo of that size with there tech level for example]
