The The Hero's Shade... the apparition who appears as a gold wolf in the mortal realm and a ghostly armored warrior in the spirit realm... is in fact, Link from Ocarina of Time.

Hyrule Historia confirmed what I had long hence suspected, The Hero's Shade and The Hero of Time are one in the same... and Nintendo, I thank you for creating something I find beautifully tragic.
