My roommates have three degus.
If you don't know what these are, they're small rodents. Bigger than a mouse, smaller than a rat.
And it turns out, damned adorable.
So after keeping an eye on them while the roommates were cleaning the cage, I decided I had to anthropomorphize them.
The two in front are the twins, Pearl and Katniss. Those two are excitable and adventurous and run around like crazy.
And then there's the older one, Lucy. She cares not for their shenanigans.
