The second of the four characters I made up on the spot at work.
Keith has long had trouble relating with others. This is due in no small part to his tendency to think that others are mocking him behind his back, regardless of whether or not they are, and his resultant outbursts towards those that approached him. Thankfully, he's not entirely alone: a few people have been able to get past his initial unfriendliness, a fact that has surprised Keith into opening up to them, forging lasting friendships. The exact reason for his standoffishness is uncertain, as he appears to have been raised in a perfectly normal and supportive home.
