The stillness of night in the city is oddly comforting, appeasing. A place with so much commotion during the day feels downright relaxing when everyone has left to sleep.

--I used to think of Alizée and Basil as sort of just appearances for me to draw porn of, but they ended up as something more than just that. I think I can say by now that they are developing characters, and frankly, I think I like it better that way. Back when their relationship was just "sex", something was missing. It's that much more enjoyable for me to draw them and try to capture love instead. Whatever love actually means.--

The lighting/shading killed me. Not to mention the background, but at least I could use the line tool for that. Perspective was hard. >-<
I used a total of four layers of light and shadow, which I think turned out pretty cool on the characters. Even though it's not perfect by any stretch. o-o
