Don't worry if your question didn't get answered!
I just ran out of room! I'll answer some of these from the backlog another time.
Like a certain one about demos on TF2, for one!
Anyway. Yeah. There's some questions answered. They were a lot of fun! :3

No worries. Though this has given me the idea that perhaps I should derp out a little comic sometime about how detrimental I feel it is to even categorize people by gender or sexuality! Much less to judge them. (Not that you have! I'm speaking in general!)
It's a whole... soapbox... thing... of mine, lol. So, y'know. In my usual fashion, that means rambling and verbose. XD

Pie love is most definitely in our by-laws (especially my mother's Derby Pie,) but I've found you can wiggle out of the must-adore-grits clause. It's a bit of a legal loophole but somehow I managed. Unfortunately my disdain for both catfish and peaches has me branded as a heretic.
Well yeah, because you can always go for hashbrowns instead of grits. :3 And hashbrowns are infinitely better! The trinity of Scattered, Smothered, Covered is somewhere in the law, I'm sure. (Though I cheat and skip the onions)
A life without peaches and catfish is sad... next you'll tell me you don't like watermelon!

Like? Sure, though not as much as the rest of my family. I'm more a cantaloupe sort of bun.
I make up for all this by a profound love of sweet/smokey BBQ and most pork products. I've also spent the requisite number of days shelling black eyed beans (which I also hate,) and pecans (which I love,) so I'm allowed to keep my 'Bama bunny membership.

Oooh! Ooh! Now I have to know which school of PB pie you had- There are two primary ones I know of.
Was the pie's filling a uniform, thicker filling? Think liiiiike... the consistency of chocolate pie?
OR
Was it the lesser-seen but superior pie species which has a filling akin to pecan pie in consistency? It requires crunchy peanut butter to be made properly. The nuts float to the surface with excess sugar and form a solid, caramelized crust, while below is a semi-gelatinous filling of pure sweetness. Ambrosia, truly.

Damn. And after googling "peanut butter pie" and seeing ONLY the kind of pie filling you had, I'm beginning to think the way my family made it was only done by wizards.
I managed to find a picture that at least show's what I'm ranting about, though I think they may have put pecans in this? The real recipe uses no pecans (delicious as they are).

You'd think ya'll would be more likely to have it than our northern cousins here. After all, Southern accents are closer to UK English than "yankee" English is.
Though the only tea you're going to find down South is iced. And loaded with sugar. ...which is how we make everything anyway. Sugar or fried. Or both.
