Beware the Waters of Ft. Pulaski

Next up for Backgrounds, Props & Structures, was an assignment centered around Ft. Pulaski, a historical confederate landmark a few miles outside of Savannah. The story goes that when an elderly tourist couple visits the fort, one of them sees something in the water, which immediately grabs them and pulls them into the drink. It was up to me to decide what it is exactly that pulls them in, and the story that follows after.
I went a little crazy with the rendering on this one. Total time: about 9 hours or so.
Cross-posted on my sketch/portfolio blog.

I was there about twenty years ago and I instantly recognized the exact location the char was in at each panel.

That's a pretty cool idea, the way you did the third panel down.

Hehe, thanks! And I give YOU two thumbs up, sir, for your icon that suddenly brought back memories of a Kids Meal and an afternoon playing Rescue Rangers on the NES.

Woa... that's really cool! I love the 3rd panel there, excellent plot flow in a single panel.
