Looks like I'm finally catching up! Believe it or not... this drawing for Scappo started in early December. I don't want to get into why it (among everything else) was put off... but I finally finished it! Well, pending the final word of Scappo ofcoarse. It was fun though. Scappo has created quite the character for himself.
I originally had some crates and clutter occupying the empty space to [our] right.... but detracted more than anything else... so I removed it.
I am not quite ready to return to the internets though... so don't expect regular visits just yet. I am trying to keep up with all the projects I started though... so when I wrap everything else up expect to see more of me online. Truth be told... I am wasting a bit of my free time playing Dota... but honestly... if didn't... I'd be bat fucking insane by now~

Holy crap. That's some superb background with great shading and texturing. The character is also excellent with a good pose and expressive features. My only comment is that the character doesn't really blend with the background entirely, but that's a real minor nit. I seriously think you could put the background as one piece and the character as another on DA.
The whole Assasin's Creed thing is a pretty fair assessment, all things considered. The brushes I used where made by Vyle. The technique... also his. Inspiration... all the same. Everything I know about CGing I learned by watching him and the rest of the steambot crew at Sijun, CGtalk, and Conceptart.org throughout the last couple of years. As for linking it to Assasin's Creed... Vyle was the lead designer! He also released some fantastic instructional DVDs which I am currently learning from. You can check him out here.

(His Assasin's Creed stuff used to be accessible.... but I guess he recently disabled remote viewing of directories without an index).
He posts a lot in this topic.... the topic being an endless source of inspiration for me (and others as well, as the brushes and lighting effects will indicate).

Someday, when I get the balls to pick up a tablet, you're goning to have to mentor me a bit on your CG techniques. I make it a habit of learning from my idols.
As for the image... well... it's rather brilliant, but let me know if you're up for critiques, if ever. If you don't mind me saying, much of your art takes on a sketchy and impressionistic look (that actually works), but this is very refined and the only thing that silenced me before is the somewhat "unfinsished" quality of much of your work.

Good to see that things are going well for you. Busy is definitely a bit frustrating but usually a good sign. ^ ^
This is beautiful though, the obvious center of attention is Tsenaya and she's beautifully done with your varied line weights and the way you draw the hair so delicately. But seriously I'm really digging that background, the brick alcove especially. Adds a lot to her just standing there and makes me wonder whats the story going on.

If I could offer you any advice at all, it would be to work on head and torso construction... because her right eye faces forward, her left eye faces sideways, her nose appears to be twisted slightly upon her muzzle, and her mouth is very strange. At the same time, her upper torso seems out of proportion to her waist, as if her ribcage were a squeezed balloon.
Have you tried to use the old artist's trick of looking at your preliminary sketches in a mirror (or flipping the sketches horizontally in Photoshop, for a mirror image effect)? This change of view can help to reveal distorted perspective and proportions that might not be visible at first glance, and help to give your figures a more cohesive appearance.
I do feel, though, that your skills as a colourist are undeniable. Colour is the one aspect of your work that really stands out. If you can bring your figure work and anatomy to a similar level... wow. I'd love to see the result.

This is an amazingly lovely, sexy, cute image. Not only is it technically excellent, but the whole gestalt of pose, outfit, lighting, expression come together to make it more than its parts; it succeeds in drawing you in, making you wonder about the character, the moment, what's going on. Very well done indeed.
All too often, I see the same, rummaged up image of an anthro in a "sexy" pose or an artist smudging the lines between art and pornography. It's these occasional drawings which are drawn which beckon feelings of beauty and elegance without feeling an insult to women. No, this feels as though it has a reason to be pondered over; even the stare feels truly emotional and felt over. I give kudos.
Weeeell, except for the whole cleavage shirt thing, but the rest is well mannered.

I love Falcatas! I've used them in art many times.... I'm just saying as far as blunt utility goes, instead of seeing machetes and hatchets everywhere I'd like to see more falcatas! Also I think I got mine from Cold Steel about 8 years ago from an annual musem replicas magazine~
