This was a product of my first art challenge. I throw a few bucks at a buddy, encourage them to go out and get some surprises for me, and then pay them back in turn later for their efforts. My emissary this time was  Tybalt_Maxwell.

I couldn't have asked for a finer result. Not only is this piece stellar - the linework, the fluidity, the pose, the expression, the lot of it is evocative of a scene from a children's epic to me - but it's also laden with meaning. This is something I admittedly tear up a bit to when I think of some bits behind it all, but I'll spare the lot of you some awkward soul-bearing and just express the oomph of it all.
