In these chapters, Michael and Skoll head outside of the city's walls in an attempt to help gather supplies. The dolphins will be within the city in days unless the walled nation-state's militia manages to hold them back, and for that, they'll need more wood... However, the pair soon find themselves helping out a lot more than they expected to... and the fallout from the day could cause an permanent wound to the royal family.
