It was snowing one fine January, and all the college students were out, as well as some kids, having snowball fights and sletting down hills. At the apartment I used to live at, there was this steep driveway, like a hill, and that day it was covered in a sheet of ice. People were using cardboard boxes to slide down the driveway and across the street. However, there were also some cars heading down the road. A few of us tried to watch out for the slow traffic and make them aware ofthe sledders(and vice versa), but the drivver's weren't really paying attention to us warning look-outs.

That's when I took to heart the wods of the great Weird Al Yankovic...and dared to be stupid. I went back to the apartment, dressed up in the Renamutation costume, and acted as traffic warden, letting the cardboard sledders know when it was save to slide down the drive way, and also motion cars to slow down if they had just turned onto the street. The side-effect was that traffic slowed down considerably, and I had my picture taken with lots of foreign-exchange students.
