doomington who captured this character so well!
Back in 2000, the Batman comics had this hidden gem of a character, Orca. She only appeared in 3 issues, and seven years later they put her in one panel during an arc where a hitman was killing off all of the "no name" villains. Her run was short and there is next to nothing on her on the internet.
The single paragraph describing her on any wiki doesn't give her any sort of justice. She was a really cool character. Not only was her physical appearance very different from the norm of comics, but her intentions were also different compared to typical Batman baddies. She would steal from the rich and give to the poor, but she did it rather violently, which caught Batman's attention. She is not only extremely powerful, but she is smart as well (she is a scientist). I could ramble on, but I think the picture describes everything when it comes to physical appearance.
It just bugs me how low tier characters like Crazy Quilt appear in Brave and the Bold, and how others like Ventriloquist are revived from the dead. I guess Orca is just out of her time. You'd think it would make sense for a super strength woman to LOOK strong, but I guess model bodies are all the rave.
Oh well... enjoy! I'm just happy to spread the word!

I agree... She had a great backstory, and was a really sympathetic villain. Pity they used her and other old-timey villains as fodder in that stupid arc that ultimately only served to undo an important change and turn Harvey back to Two-Face.
Then again, with new 52, she could come back...
I found it particularly touching how she had a husband and they were in a loving relationship, despite her appearance or her villanous ways.
