Yeah. I basically came to the conclusion that it's listenable, but that's about it. Not really enjoyable, but it won't completely ruin your day either. Sort of like the Megadeth equivalent to elevator music. Evey so often, he feels the need to go this route, which is funny because it's not what he's good at.
Honestly, that's a very fair observation. At this point, I think MegaDave is just finding ways to keep it interesting, but not for us, for himself. Can't blame an artist for self-indulgence, because all art is inherently selfish, but with art meant to entertain (like music), there is still an audience to consider. He has not.
