My guess is Gem's not quite ready to make the decision on her own to stay in this world. If it happens at the wrong time or in the wrong way, her adult body could become neglected or destroyed.

I enjoy the twists and turns, the character back stories, the art, and the interactions between everyone. I wonder what the ending will be like and if the ending will be dramatic or triumphant.

Ahh the ever present question, what is truth, and what is the bliss of dreams? Can we for certain call what we see, feel, and remember reality? Or is this the dream, and the place we go when we slumber reality? Something I have also pondered on long nights withing to arrive there. Two people waiting for arrival, perhaps their lives are real, and this is fiction? Just like how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop, the world may never know.

I know this much: eating food within a dream doesn't satisfy my hunger.

I am soooo curious why ZeeZee doesn't want Gem to know the truth! I am sure that he's keeping her from finding out because he wants to protect her from something, but what is it that Rasile wants to tell her that she shouldn't hear right now, not this way?

Of course if she stays forever, wouldn't that mean that she'd go into a coma in real life and not wake up? Unless time were somehow compressed ... dreams can seem to last for days when really you're only dreaming for a few minutes.

But then there's the other question ... whose voice was that in the darkness? Was it the same comforting voice she's heard when she's been passed out? Or, considering that it seems to be telling her something other than what ZeeZee thinks is good, was it something else?

Is it bad that I'm going into withdrawal for this Comic? :P

I like this comic. :) By the way Gem, there is a book series, I think called RED, I think you would like it if you are into the theory of waking up then sleeping to wake up in a different place.
